Two old cronies catching some rays, sitting under the old Banyan Tree at Waikiki Beach 1974. From their age and the tattoo on the one man's arm I imagined they were WWII veterans, maybe Navy or Marine, with memories and stories to tell. I wish I'd thought to sit and talk with them and listen, and find out where they'd been and what they'd known.
