FilmPhotography.com is a community website for film photographers. It hosts a gallery of member-submitted photographs, a directory of businesses relevant to film photography, member reviews of those businesses, and editorial articles.

2. No Verification

FilmPhotography.com does not verify the identity of users or the accuracy of anything they submit. Directory entries are community-submitted and are not endorsements: we do not verify that a business is trading, competent, appropriately licensed or insured, or that its contact details are current. Member reviews are the personal opinions of the people who wrote them, not statements of fact by FilmPhotography.com. Business details change and businesses close; please confirm anything that matters before relying on it.

3. Reviews and Opinions

Reviews must describe your own genuine experience with a business. You may not post a review of a business you own, work for, or are connected to, nor a review written in exchange for payment or other benefit. Reviews must not contain statements you know to be false, and you are solely responsible for what you write.

Reviews are moderated before publication, but moderation is not verification and publication is not endorsement. FilmPhotography.com may decline, edit for length or clarity, or remove any review at any time. If you are a business and believe a review about you is inaccurate, get in touch and it will be looked at.

4. Prohibited Content and Conduct

You may not:

Upload photographs you did not make or do not have permission to share;
Submit images that were not made on film, or that were generated by software;
Post content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or sexually explicit;
Harass, defraud, or impersonate other users;
Scrape, spam, or misuse contact information;
Post malware, phishing links, or unsolicited advertising;
Attempt to circumvent site security or moderation.

5. User Content and License

You retain ownership of the text and images you submit. By posting, you represent that you own or have the right to use the content, and you grant FilmPhotography.com a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the service. You are solely responsible for the legality and accuracy of what you post. You may request removal of your content at any time by contacting us.

6. Moderation and Removal

Photographs, directory submissions, and reviews are reviewed before they appear publicly. FilmPhotography.com may remove any content or account, at any time, for any reason or no reason, without notice. FilmPhotography.com is not obligated to monitor content but may do so, and moderation does not imply verification or endorsement.

7. No Warranty

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FilmPhotography.com, its owners, operators, agents, and affiliates from any claim, demand, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the service, the content you submit, or your breach of these Terms.

9. Changes

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. The current version is identified above.
