Kentmere Pan 100

What Kentmere Pan 100 actually looks like — 9 photographs shot on it by members here.

ISO 100 · Black & white · 9 photographs · 2 developing recipes

Kentmere Pan 100 is the slower, finer-grained sibling of Kentmere Pan 400, made by Harman Technology as an inexpensive alternative to its Ilford films. At ISO 100 it suits daylight, landscapes and anyone who wants cleaner black-and-white without paying premium prices.

Grain is fine for the money and contrast is moderate, with a fairly traditional look. It is a forgiving film to learn home development on. For a step up in refinement at a similar speed, compare it with Ilford FP4 Plus; for more speed from the same maker, Kentmere Pan 400.
