We left Papeete just before midnight and watched Marlon Brando's 'Mutiny on the Bounty' in the freighter's little lounge, then rocked and rolled ourselves to sleep till dawn. Three weeks later we returned from a magical journey through the Marquesas filled with sounds and scents and tastes and places and people we will never forget.
