What was once old is now new... Canoes

Last year I bought a Watson bulk roller from EBay that came with a surprise. A roll of about 75 feet of unexposed film. Did a little film test and found out I had an expired bulk roll of Portra 160. Shot some at 100 and these are the results. Not too bad..... Anyone know when Portra was discontinued as a bulk purchase? I would like to be able to date this expired film.

If I had to guess, I'd say early 2000's before they switched the Portra formula. Maybe as late as 2010.

It held up rather well in any case. I don’t do a lot of fresh color shooting/developing. Mainly expired, experimental and expired APS color.
