This is about a 1.5"x 2" chunk of a 4x5 neg. I shot it in my front yard (nice-not too far to schlepp that heavy camera..whew). I'm quite taken by it. The graceful curves of the leaf edges and gentle light seems quite calming somehow.
Shot with my venerable f/9 240mm Fujinon A. This is a wonderful lens-compact, put your eye out so sharp it is and covers a barn door. While not a symmetrical Tessar design, it is an apochromat said to be corrected to 1:10 reproduction ratio. Still, at infinity, it can run with the big dogs all day long. Owned it for forty years, probably end up being buried with the damn thing as some sort of talisman against Photon, bitch Goddess of images-destroyer of film.
