Providence Photography Group

Providence Photography Group runs hands-on photography workshops and photo-walk classes throughout Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts, with regular sessions in Bristol, RI and Seekonk, MA. Led by instructor Dana Bibeault, who brings over 35 years of experience spanning black-and-white film and darkroom printing through to digital, the group offers two- and three-hour sessions on a rotating set of themes: composition, manual mode, natural-light portraits, shooting gear essentials, and a monthly Beginners Guide to Photography class. Sessions are open to all skill levels, from first-timers to keen amateurs, and DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, compacts, and smartphones are all welcome. Workshops typically run $54 for two hours and around $109 for three-hour classes, with private bookings also available. The group maintains an active Facebook community for sharing work after each session.
